"Nothing" is a soundtrack I made for a theatre piece directed by my wife. The piece is based on "Intet", a book by Janne Teller. One should not see this album as a collection of real songs. These pieces are impressions; ambient pieces built around a musical theme. They were composed to set the fragile, lo-fi atmosphere needed during the performance.

This does not mean I care less about these compositions. This body of music has been living in my mind for the last couple of months. It was a treat to be able to work very closely together with my spouse. This music kept me awake during the cold nights of october and novermber 2014.

While writing this soundtrack, I was listening to Philip Glass, one of my greatest musical heroes. I thought it would be a nice detail to include an ode to his music. That's how the vocal part of Stones came about.

The largest part of this album was recorded at my own Paisleysound Studio. Most piano parts were recorded at Muziekcentrum Goedleven (Oostakker).
